Hi, fellow New Yorkers!
(I lived in Manhattan for 10 years, I hope that counts ~ and hi to those of you in MA, CT, and VT - close enough!)
I'm headed to Poughkeepsie and Middleburgh (Scoharie County) this weekend for concerts on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon respectively. Please join us for these re-unions as we become re-acquainted in person once more ~ I'm very excited to bring new and older music to you in person. Saturday night: here's the link

YES!

That's Sonny Ochs (wearing the watch) sister of the late great Phil Ochs and host for my 4 PM event at the Middleburgh Public Library on Sunday afternoon July 31st. Come by and see us if you're out west of Albany this weekend...it's called the "Not So Quiet Concert Series", and Sonny is a friend of many, many moons going back to my NYC days. I'll definitely include a couple of Phil's masterpieces as we reconnect there for the first time in 4 years.

If you're up early Sunday morning, I'll also be the guest speaker at the UU Congregation at Rock Tavern at 10:30 AM - my "sermon-in-song" that morning:
"Living in Harmony: Easier Sung Than Done" ~ ALL are welcome.

We're winding down our 24th annual SummerSongs songwriting camp here in Stony Point (Rockland County) this week, and to tell you how great it has been to meet once more for the first time in three summers would be a great understatement. Thanks to all who have graced us with your mighty presence. And we're not done yet!
Next year is our Silver Anniversary! It boggles the mind, and we're already in the planning stages.

Let's get together. Now more than ever.

With gratitude

David
