Greetings once more, this time from the San Pancho Music Festival. Theirs is a great design - a main stage and a smaller side stage in the same public square, which they alternate back and forth from.
When one act is playing, everyone turns their chairs in that direction, while the crew on the other stage sets up for the next band.
The back-and-forth makes for a great non-stop flow of many kinds of mostly Latino-influenced music crossing many genres. Bien hecho! (Here's the 2023 t-shirt - I love singing dogs!)

And even as I write from our open-air studio second-story flat in this beautiful Mexican town, I'm getting ready for next month which will include
~ a tour that includes Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.
As I reflect on next month's gigs alone, these are the beautiful blossoms of seeds planted over decades of invovement in folk and orginal music. I am more grateful than I can say for the opportunities I have these days, cultivated over many moons and many connections (old and new) with so many of you.

The Pacific Northwest also throws out the annual "welcome mat" in April, and because we lived in Seattle for all the 1990's, I love returning each spring (since 2000) to rekindle these ties that bind. Plan ahead to join us if you can. Anywhere, any time.
And something else that's new and road test-worthy:
For any of these concerts anywhere, bring an instrument to join me on a song! Here's your chord progression
Nothing more to know. Instant spontaneous bands!
And June & July foretell some collaborative concerts with a couple more old pals - Anne Hills and Harold Payne. Here we come!

“What is that feeling when you're driving away from people and they recede on the plain till you see their specks dispersing?
It's the too-huge world vaulting us, and it's good-bye.
But we lean forward to the next crazy venture
