Greetings once more, friends in my native midwest...March has arrived, and I've got a 6-pack of great communities to visit a little later this month, as outlined above...here's what's shakin'
Come join us for a couple hours of sanity in this complicated world.
(Do you see Champaign, IL - left-center on the map - that's where I matriculated during my Bachelor Degree days)
*My friend of many years, Phyllis Thode, has just retired after 21 years as Community Development Specialist at this outstanding library, and she has been a tireless advocate of meaningful music programs all along the way. Come help us honor her with a crisp (!) hour of song and story. The event is free to all. 950 Abbot Road
* I first started playing in Ann Arbor in 1995, and after regular visits, last came to A2 in 2019. I've had time to practice! The Greenwood is a great place to gather our community on a Friday night. Looking forward to this! 1001 Green Rd, AA
* Eight years since I've crossed the threshold here, and I'm excited to finally return to a place that hosts a lot of great community events. Reconnecting with Rev Judy and storied staffer Tracy Process will be a joy once more, and you can join us all for lunch there at 1:30 before the music! 1201 Whites Road in the 'Zoo
* Start the coffee! Couldn't be more excited to join my brothers-in-arms, Revs Michael Everett David and Ed Trout (who also happen to be fabulous songwriters and musicians). They've invited me to do my sermon in song "Living in Harmony: Easier Sung Than Done" and it won't be your typical Sunday morning service, tho it will absolutely be in service. 907 N Delaware St, Indianapolis
24 ~ Anderson, IN ~ 6 PM concert @ Unity of Anderson * I've known Rev Diane for a long time, going back to her days in (not on) Jupiter (Florida, that is). She's been sending me notes for a few short years now since she relocated ... "If you're ever in Indiana..." Well here we are. My first time in Anderson.
25 ~ Cincinnati, OH ~ 6 PM potluck, 7 PM concert
The amazing Kim Belew has extended her community's venue to us on a special Monday night. I'm hoping for some Grader's Ice Cream, but not before I've sung up a whole bunch of thoughts, prayers, and action for the greater good of all. Let's break break together at 6 and then see where the songs take us. 1401 E McMillan St
