If anybody tells you there's no politics in guns
And that now is not the time to change the laws
Just meet the gaze of those who lost family or friends
And tell them how we justify the cause
It’s well and good to send out loving thoughts and loving prayers
But by now these thoughts and prayers are not enough
All the good intentions and the cries to make a change
Must be followed up with action and rebuff
Change the laws, change the laws
Change the contract, change the clause
Change the mind and change the cause
Change the laws, change the laws
If politicians say do not politicize these things
Or get caught up in the moment or in haste
I say it’s precisely what we need to talk about
Before another single life is wasted
Change the laws, change the laws
Change the contract, change the clause
Change the mind and change the cause
Change the laws, change the laws
Though the silencers abound
I will not be led by those
If anybody tells you there's no politics in guns
They’re the ones who know that money runs the show
And as long as nothing changes they'll be happy and content
And they’ll do their best to keep the status quo
Change the laws, change the laws
Change the contract, change the clause
Change the mind and change the cause
Change the laws, change the laws

It's happening...I'm getting back out into the world, with so much to sing about and the ongoing question - can songs make a difference? They do for me.
I'm thrilled to be resuming a semblance of a touring schedule. I've gotten to play a handful of live events over the last two years, and in such scarcity, each one has been more special and nourishing than ever. Virtual events and appearances will continue (get in touch) as I also start booking airline tickets and in-person contact once again.

We'll have a great and powerful time and do something great for a family at the same time - you'll get the recording! 2) Open Mic - my training ground every Monday night during my decade in NYC was the open mic, so here we'll re-create this invitation for you to share a song, a story, a poem, spoken word, anything you can fill up to 5 minutes with...and wait til you hear everyone else!
