Here we come, friends and neighbors...our last gathering of the calendar year, our 57th event over these 19 years, and another reason to celebrate community in a troubled world.

for hosting us once more...we'ved moved around a bit over all this time for one reason or another, but it sure feels like home in Chatham these days. And may I point out that the Center doesn't take a penny for opening their doors, and this has always been important to me so that the recipients of our voluntary donation bucket get all of those pennies and dollars every single time.

This time we'll send our collection off-Cape to help feed people in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene and parts elsewhere,

via the World Central Kitchen.

What does anyone think of pot luck snacks/beverages at 6:30 that evening? A little more time to socialize and visit before we take in all the beauty...if you come early and can bring a little something to share, awesome. Otherwise, 7 PM it is!
